To achieve this, ALA delivers four core pillars of support: an AI-powered market pricing database; luxury handbag authentication services and training programs; repair and care services and training programs; and overseas sales support and consulting. Through cross-border resource integration, talent development, technology adoption, and the promotion of industry standards, we help members improve pricing efficiency, reduce authenticity and transaction risk, enhance product saleability and value uplift, and expand into overseas markets with practical, execution-ready cross-border operating solutions. ALA aims to connect partners who are committed to authenticity, professionalism, and long-term value—working together to build a more sustainable future for the industry.

By providing practical resources, specialized knowledge, and a robust collaboration network, we empower every member to expand their business and strengthen their brand influence on a foundation of trust.
Background and Founding Rationale
As acceptance of pre-owned luxury continues to grow across Asia, market demand and the number of industry participants have increased rapidly. However, the sector has long lacked reliable industry standards, integrated resource networks, and systematic professional talent development.
ALA was initiated by a Japan-based resource platform team together with experienced professionals from Mainland China and Hong Kong. Combining years of hands-on expertise in auction operations, brand authentication, livestream commerce, and sourcing and inventory management, we aim to establish in Hong Kong Asia’s first pre-owned luxury association built on trust and professionalism—helping entrepreneurs break through industry challenges, connect critical resources, reduce risk, and expand globally with Asia as the foundation.
In addition, ALA’s core members bring extensive experience in Japanese auction sourcing and operations, leadership as founders of professional handbag repair and care training systems in China, and proven management and operational expertise from large-scale pre-owned luxury retailers. By integrating front-line capabilities with cross-border resources, we have built a solid foundation of professionalism and credibility for the Association.
